demands of the industry. The utilization of total quality management poses an assumption that
all higher education institution produces graduates that can stand on the demands of the
industry. However, the story changes when tqm is being used in the level of basic education.
This paper ought to investigate through published online journals the success stories of
graduates. Also, this paper will try to link various evidences from the published journals to see
the gaps that emerges as tqm was used in the basic education system both local and
international perspectives.

This paper focused on the utilization of total quality management in basic education
education institution on local and international setting. This filter set by the researcher gave a
great opportunity to the vast sources of literature and studies concerning the focus of this paper.

management on the three educational isntitutions located on the southern borders of Thailand.
