1. Bowing down to the feet of Almighty and taking his blessings, May I start
this grand Valedictory function by requesting our Principal and Coordinator
to escort the luminaries on to the dais?

2. A warm good evening to all the wonderful people present today. I am Dr

Geetanjali Patil, anchor to today’s valedictory session of Aavishkar 2019.

It is our strong belief that any auspicious occasion needs blessings of

Almighty for its success and I request Soumya & Team, of our college, to
present an invocation song.

Thank u girls for the beautiful song.

3. Education does not simply mean the ability to read and write it is a wide term
used to describe the complete process of development. Education in today’s
scenario aims at the holistic development of the children. The aim of this
holistic development is only achievable with the pragmatic approach to
education. Pragmatic approach imparts learning by doing and experiencing
things. Exhibitions, seminars, projects, presentations, etc are the mediums of
wholesome development of the students in schools and colleges. An
exhibition is a platform for the students to work together in groups. This
gives the opportunity for the students to develop social and moral skills.
Students apart from the scientific knowledge learn to respect each other’s
views and thoughts, sharing experiences, cooperating with each other,

managerial skills, skills of leadership, helping and caring about the feelings
of fellow members. When the presentation is ready, during the exhibition the
students learn public speaking and it helps the students remove the fear of
speaking in public. They represent their model and explain its uses and
functions. This kind of science exhibition boosts the confidence of the
students and develops their interest and curiosity even further.

(We are living in a developing country and science has a very vital role to
play in the development of any country or the world as a whole. Science has
always proved to be a blessing to mankind. Science has transformed life by
inculcating various luxuries and made human life very comfortable. It is a
science that has helped man to reach the moon, measure the depth of the sea
and revealed many secrets of the living and the non-living. The importance
of science in our day to day life can never be underestimated. Science
exhibitions at different levels are one of the easiest ways to enhance
students’ interest in science and technology)

Keeping this in mind we hosted this science exhibition AAVISHKAR 2019

in our esteemed institute to provide platform for the PU students around us
to showcase their talent and get exposure. We are extremely happy that the
exhibition is a grand success with the support of all the stakeholders (our
kind and encouraging management, our principal and coordinator with the
entire team, Principals, faculty and dear students of PU colleges)

4. WELCOME
It is indeed my pleasure and privilege to start this gathering by welcoming
the beautiful audience gathered here.

i. On behalf of BLDE management, Principal and staff of our institute I

extend a hearty welcome to the respected guests Dr Jayatheertha
Mudakavi, Dr. Shivaprasad C.G and Shri Janagond Pujeri for sparing
their valuable time to be a part of this fest.

ii. I especially welcome Galaxy of intellectual students from different

PU colleges, Project guides, Principals of different PU Colleges
without whose interest and involvement this event would not have
been possible.

iii. I welcome the Judges of the Event for taking trouble to do the
challenging job of selecting the best projects.

iv. I also sincerely welcome and appreciate Press and Media who have
given wide coverage of this Mega Event

5. FLOWERS
Flowers are the most beautiful way to express one's feelings, their fragrance
and color brings a sense of freshness and beauty in the life of our loved ones.
Flowers always make people better, happier and more hopeful. They are
sunshine, Food and medicine for the soul. Let us honor the dignitaries on the
dais with flowers.
