Integration Highlights with Payroll
• Allowance for entry of Dependent Fields based on specific Pay Time Type Values (i.e. Overtime
Time Type with Rate)
• Valid Pay Time Types filtered by Assignment (based on assignment association to Legislative
Data Group)
• Assignment Data Source is a core view delivered by Payroll, also used by Absence Management
• Integration supports original and changed time entries
• Customer creates payroll time types in Payroll
– Generate Data Dictionary Attributes process automatically insert those Payroll Time Type values in our WFM Data
Dictionary
– We use Payroll Time Types for Time Categories and Time Card Fields
– Generate Time Card Fields process automatically generates the time card fields which map to the Payroll Time

• Pre-population of absence entries in time card

• Generate Data Dictionary Attributes and Generate Time Card Fields processes will pull in Absence
Type values for Time Card Field and Time Category usage
• Absence validations run on save and submit of time card
• Absence Management sole owner of Absence entries and will transfer them to Payroll
