RE: LETTER OF REQUEST FOR ROAD CLEARING

Dear Honorable Cartano,

Greetings!

The Metroville Homeowners Association (MHA) is a registered homeowner association (if registered na);
if di pa eto na lang ilagay (is an organized group of residents) located in Metroville Subidivision which is
under the jurisdiction of Brgy. Pooc.

In line with this intention, we are writing this letter to request your assistance on the clearing of
sidewalks, streets, illegal structures and obstructions located near the entrance road to Metroville
Subdivision. This request is in connection with the Memorandum Circular 2019-121 issued by Department
of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) dated 29 July 2019.

There are numerous complaints from the pedestrians and residents that the streets and sidewalks
became inaccessible due to vendors and vehicles that are illegally parked during rush hour.

Thus, to address the complaints, the MHA officers came up with the following suggestions:
1. Implement a one side parking policy
2. Use the vacant area beside creek for the parking of vehicles
3. Remove the illegal vendors in the sidewalks

However, MHA is not in a position to implement these steps/suggestions. We would like to request your
assistance to consider our suggestions in the clearing of the roads.

Let’s help and promote the cleanliness and peaceful order in our community as this will serve as an
example to other nearby barangays, if the road clearing operations will be implemented as soon as
possible.
