This study is deemed significant to the Department of Education, the
schools, administrators, teachers, parents and students, along with the government
and non-government organizations.
Department of Education. This study is a manifestation of the extent of
implementation of K to 12 in some private and public schools where this study was
conducted. This information may be used as a feedback of the compliance of the schools
used in this study, relative to such new curriculum.

Definition of Terms (example below make 5 at min)


To facilitate the readers’ understanding of the contents of this study, the
researcher included the operational and conceptual definition of the following terms:
Administration and Management. This variable as used in this study, pertains
to the modification of the functions of the school heads as an effect of the change from
the old to the new curriculum.

Chapter 3 RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Table 1, given in the next page presents the population and sample size and the
venue of the study which covered some selected private and public secondary schools
in Lucban, Quezon. These schools include the following: Lucban Academy from which
24 respondents participated and Banahaw View Academy Inc., of which 16 respondents
were taken and Southern Luzon State University Laboratory High School from which
10 respondents took part of this study, and Paaralang Sekondarya ng Lucban or PSL
where out of 68 total population, 58 teachers were derived and served as respondents.

SAMPLING TECHNIQUE USED (example below paki memorized mening ng random

The simple random sampling through a fish bowl technique was used in this
study to minimize the number of teacher-respondents to a manageable one. Hence, a
total of 108 respondents were selected: 68 from public schools and 40 from private
schools.

Research Locale (example below history ng school)


The Calamba National High School is a secondary school of the government
located at Brgy. Bañadero, Calamba City. It was established to enrich God-given wisdom
among the youth through Math-curriculum and Special Education leading to the portal
of competitiveness. The vision of Calamba National High School is to be a benchmark of
functional literacy towards an enthusiastic life. It offers regular curriculum, special
mathematics curriculum and SPED. It was founded on 1976.

Description of Respondents (example below. Yan din ung Participants of the Study

There are four groups of teachers (two from private and two from public high
school) that composed the respondents. The first two groups from private are as
follow: Lucban Academy was founded on May 15, 1947. It is the first non-sectarian
school in Lucban, Quezon and is counted as one of the best private schools in town,
having been awarded as the over-all champion in the 2013 Town Meet and granted top
places in the usual Division Press Con;
The second school from private is the Banahaw View Academy, which started its
operation in1998, is the only Seventh Day Adventist high school in the province of
Quezon. The school was awarded most discipline and most healthy and clean school in
2010. It also received gold in cultural dance and Bible quiz bee, and silver in semaphore
in the 2013 North Philippine Union Conference- wide Camp of the Seventh day
Adventists.
The other two groups from public are as follow: Southern Luzon State
University Laboratory High School and Paaralang Sekondarya ng Lucban. Southern
Luzon State University, Laboratory High School is situated along Quezon Avenue, Lucan,
Quezon. while Paaralang Sekondarya ng Lucban or PSL is situated along the public
highways connecting Luisiana, Laguna and Lucban , Question . This school was formally
opened on June 10, 1991 and was officially included in the list of secondary schools
Dep-Ed – Division of Quezon in 2005. It was awarded 2011 Brigada Eskwela School Best
Implementer, regional level.

Instrument (example below paano niyo ginawa un gung interview question niyo )
The main instrument that the researchers used was the questionnaire. The
devised questionnaires were based on different studies that are related to the current
studies. The instrument covers the use of dialogic teaching in relation to the
performance of selected third year high school students in Calamba National High
School during the school year 2011-2012. It contains a checklist that manifested the
selected indicators pertaining to the performance of the students.

Validation of the Instrument (example below kanino niyo ito pina check NOTE

The validation of the instrument was conducted after the researchers had finished
preparing the draft and the survey questionnaire. The instrument was already checked
by their adviser. Then the validation was held at City college of Calamba by four
language experts and one English teacher in Mabato National High School.
Data Gathering Procedure (example below panuyo gagawin ung study sa field mag

All data pertinent to the topics of this study were gathered personally by the
researcher. Secondary data were gathered from news items, books, and from the
Internet. While the primary data were gathered from the filled-up questionnaire
administered to the respondents of the schools covered in this study.

Ethical Considerations (example below yan ung nag sasabi na bawal i pagakala ung

In this study, the researcher assured the privacy and security of their
participants. Their personal information stayed private. The researcher did not force
nor bribe the participants to participate in this study.
The interview questions were written in a way where the participants can easily
understand it to can avoid any misunderstandings. The participants answered the
questions willingly and comfortably. The researchers did not alternate nor change
anything form the answer of the participants.
The participants were assured that they have the right to refuse in participating
in this study and that the researchers will keep the information that they do not want
to expose. These manners have been observed through the study to stablish trust
between the researchers and the participants.

Treatment of Qualitative Data (example below naka based yan sa SOP kaya pag

The ensuring statements are the Qualitative Data Treatment pertaining to the
situations if the introverts in Chapter 1 that aspire to understand the contextual
occurrence of introverts as they go through their different Experience.
1. The researcher conducted interview in different schools to acquire more
information regarding these kinds of behavior. It was done through a textual and
contextual framework which will be the facet of the study in this chapter. The
interviews were recorded with the used of a recording camera and mobile
phones as back up.
2. The outcome if this study helps the researcher to come up with a broader idea
about the factors and reason in acquiring this kind of behavior. The different
lived experience shared by the participants contributed a lot understanding
holistically and coping up introverts. The participants who have similar stories
or lived experience have been summarized by the researcher as a whole.
3. The researchers have created a reelections and recommendations based on the
outcome of this study.
