‘BARKING DOGS SELDOM BITES’

Barking dogs seldom bite because they merely make much noise. They lack
courage and they only try to frighten people away by their bark. But there are
dogs that do not bark too much. They are sure to bite us. There are people who
talk too much without meaning anything serious. They go about boasting about
themselves. They also utter big threats, but are incapable of putting them into
practice. Those who go about boasting are only anxious to keep up a false
image of themselves in front of others. They are weak, not courageous. They are
aware of their weakness and are trying to deceive themselves and others by
making a false show of strength. We need not take such people seriously.
People who talk less are to be watched and taken seriously. They behave with
humility. They do not waste their time in unnecessary talks and believe more in
practice. Dogs of good breed seldom bark, but can attack others skilfully. In the
same way, people who talk less and boast less can do noble deeds. A person
who used to talk unnecessarily wasting his own time and other’s time never
does anything worth of its time. Just like a barking dog they do not do anything
fruitful. Similarly, there are situations when a man gets angry he challenges
anybody and he threatens others to kill others, but when his anger or anguish
disappears he will not think of killing anybody.
An example might be a dissatisfied customer in a shop shouting at the Sales
Assistant, “I will make sure you lose your job over this!” even though the
customer has no genuine grounds for a grievance. In that example, the customer
is a typical barking dog that has no bite.
A newly married Male Chauvinist Macho Man used to bully his simple, young,
docile wife into submission. The Macho Man treated his Docile Wife like a
slave made her work throughout the day .He made her do all sorts of work and
made her life miserable by imposing on her his excessive demands. He fiercely
ordered his hapless wife to whatever he wanted her to do and made her to dance
to his tune and she meekly submitted to his bidding. Every morning he used to
threaten her:
“You better do what I tell you – or else I will do something you won’t like.”
On hearing these ominous words uttered by her fierce looking husband, the
terrified submissive wife used to tremble with fear and meekly obey her ruthless
husband and do whatever work her husband ordered her to do.
One day, the frail docile wife was totally overcome with fatigue. She was on the
verge of collapse. Suddenly her husband shouted at her and started ordering her
around, saying: “You better do what I tell you – or else I will do something you
won’t like.” The hapless wife was so exhausted and fed up with her
domineering husband that this continuous scolding became too much for her to
bear. So defiantly, but with tremors of trepidation in her heart, the docile wife
asked her macho husband: “Suppose I don’t do the work you order me to do.
Tell me, suppose I refuse to do the work you order me to do, just what will you
do that I won’t like...?”The Male Chauvinist Macho Man looked self-effacingly
at his “docile” wife and said: “If you refuse and you don’t do the work I order
you to do ... well, then I will do the work myself ...” This story also tell you how
to deal with bullying and bullies and those who keep threatening you with “dire
consequences”: If someone tries to bully you or threaten you, just call his bluff.
Just like a barking dog they do not do anything fruitful.
This is similar to the political situation where the politicians talk and give empty
promises but they never do anything as promised.
Don’t you think the Varun bashing is going overboard? Is this an issue that
needs to be given so much of importance for such an extended period of time?
Who is not spewing the venom against their own brother? What do they want?
Nowadays the quality of politics is too low that there is no presence of
quality seen around. I am still at loss to realize in what way Varun’s statement
was communal or that invokes violence. All he said that is he will cut off those
who offend Hindus or Hinduism. At the outset this is a hypothetical statement.
If at all people are reacting to this statement, then they are proving that they are
in the process of offending Hinduism and they need protection from the
retaliation. In all fairness, is it not a statement made in self-defence? Equality
does not mean that one has to be suppressed to the maximum. The Maharashtra
Govt has cleared an amount of Rs 24 crore in various projects for development
in just 9 days. What does this imply when the elections are nearing too close?
When the farmers were dying committing suicide, this is the same Government
watching them helplessly. Now where from are they doling out this money just
to appease a section of the people? What would you call this? Secularism? The
height of the irony is the advice from Priyanka Vadra who suggested Varun to
read Gita. "Madamji, Varun had gone through Gita or else why he should
contest his cousin? Don’t you know that Mahabharata was also fought between
cousins?" Its high time Priyanka read undistorted Indian history now. The
tolerance levels of Hindus should not be abused. If at all India is unsafe, it is
unsafe for the Hindus who live here. Any one can vouch for this going by the
recent monthly-blast celebrations IM had on India and the Government simply
sat back and watched it. Our Prime Minister lost his sleep when an Indian from
a minority community was arrested elsewhere under suspicion but he had sound
sleep when India was literally burnt month after month at various places .Why
is that only when Hindus retaliate – mind it – they are not starting on their own
but retaliating – people cry of communalism? What sort of religious equality are
we practicing? How many of the media personnel went over board when the
entire bogie of Indian railways was set ablaze by a few fanatics causing damage
to lives and the Government property? They maintained silence because they
were from the minority sector? Varun’s statement can be considered as an act of
self-defence. He did not say that Muslims should go out of the country. He said,
you are free to live here but don’t fiddle with Hindus. No longer would Hindus
tolerate this in silence. The Government has not arrested Sanjay Dutt who was
proven guilty by the court in providing logistic support to the terrorist elements
in the 1993 blasts. Irony is he is contesting. The destruction of Babri structure
and Godhra is repeatedly raked but the ’84 Sikh riots are conveniently
forgotten. Where else it will happen that Hindus in their own homeland had to
leave and run for their life like refugees? This is what was happening
in Kashmir for the past two decades and why the press is silent on this? Is it
because the driving force is from the minority sector? Afterall, Varun only said
and politicians are notorious for not keeping their word. What is happening
elsewhere is in action but the authorities are silently watching it. Oh, my secular
friends, we are not against minorities. We are against the appeasement policies
adapted by the authorities that are biased. Have the minorities ever felt insecure
in India? If at all they felt, it was the myth created by the pseudo-secularists.
There were many instances where the authorities sprinted additional miles to
appease the minority sect even if it meant hurting the sentiments of the majority
sect. We are against the selective secularism approach adapted. Irony is, the
minorities do not realize that such an approach would only keep the minorities
in status quo and the development will never happen. High time they realized
that these are vote gaining gimmicks adapted by the political parties. It is the
country of Hindus. Hindus should realize that 800 years of Mughal rule had not
changed us and what can these Taliban do to us? It’s the time for us to remain
united and act without a prejudice. Don’t just talk show in action. Mind it a
barking dog never bites.

His popularity in the mainstream American psyche came from his show ‘The
Apprentice,’ where his phrase “YOU’RE FIRED!!’ got people excited. Since
leaving the show and entering politics (reality, not reality tv) not only has
Trump not told a single terminated employee that they are fired to their face, he
has fired them almost exclusively on Twitter, half a world away. On the rare
occasion he waits, he has sent someone else to do the firing in his place. He is a
spineless coward. He talks tough from the safety of a podium or behind his
phone, if you can call senseless incoherent screeching to be tough-talk, but then
in person he is literally crippled. He made the mistake of televising his pre-
midterm talks with Pelosi and Schumer and all he did was yell at them and fall
into a trap that got him to openly declare pride for the impending government
shut-down. He hasn’t done that since. The meetings have been private and he
has fled from them; his boot-lickers come out and claim he tried his best, but the
adults in the room point out that Trump would enter those meetings having
already decided he wouldn’t talk to them like a grown man, and left again in a
fit of childish rage. Given what we’ve seen of him with our own eyes, I tend to
believe that he cried like the stupid little baby he is.
