RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PEACE AND ORDER FUND OF THE

MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARIA, PROVINCE OF DAVAO OCCIDENTAL FOR
YEAR 2019 IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR MILLION (P4,000,000.00) PESOS
ONLY

WHEREAS, President Rodrigo R. Duterte committed to the Rule of Law and strict
adherence to Due Process to fully govern the national campaign against corruption and
criminality, including the fight against illegal drugs;

WHEREAS, the Municipality of Santa Maria is fully supportive of the country’s war
against criminality and drugs and declared Peace and Order, Anti-Poverty and Anti-Drug
Programs as major thrusts of Governor Claude P. Bautista’s administration through PPOC
Resolution No. 1, series of 2018;

WHEREAS, COA-DBM-DILG-GOCCs-DND JMC 2015-01 dated January 8, 2015

provided among others that specific amount for Peace and Order Program be included in
the Annual Budget and in the Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan of the LGU;

WHEREAS, as contained in the municipality’s Annual Budget for CY 2018,

supported by the municipality’s Peace and Order and Public Safety Plan for June 2017 to
December 2019, Peace and Order Program is named as one of the priorities to realize
investments and development;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Max T. Monsad duly seconded by Eric R. Alvaro

during the 1st Quarter joint meeting of the MPOC and MADAC on February 6, 2019 at the
Municipal Function Hall, Sta. Maria, Davao Occidental; it was:

RESOLVED AS IT HEREBY RESOLVES TO APPROVE THE PEACE AND

ORDER FUND OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA MARIA, PROVINCE OF

Resolved further that copies of this resolution be submitted to the Hon. Secretary
Eduardo M. Anñ o, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Diliman, Quezon City,
Police Director General, PNP Chief, all level PNP Offices, all level Peace and Order Council
Secretariats, PPOC members, and all other officials and offices concerned such as the
Commission on Audit, for their information, appropriate action, and reference.

Resolved finally that copies hereof be furnished all other agencies and offices
concerned for information.

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED. February 6, 2019.
