2019 Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Week

(Manambia Integrated School)

As pursuant to Presidential proclamation No. 124 dated November 26, 2001 entitled

Declaring 3rd week of November of every year as Drug Abuse Prevention and Control (DAPC) Week,

the Manambia Integrated School joins and celebrates the observance of the 2019 Drug Abuse

Prevention and Control (DAPC) week with the theme, Katarungan para sa Kalusugan, Kalusugan

para sa Katarungan last November 28, 2019.

In this note, SISA or School Integrated Students Activities was celebrated highlighting the

different activities including Drug Prevention Week rendering activities such as campaign against

drug abuse (symposium) spear-headed by our Science Coordinator Mr. Brille Anthony F. Buniel

tackling the dangers of drugs to human health, awareness of the effects to any age bracket. The

said symposium was attended by all pupils and students from Manambia Integrated School. Other

than that, contest such as poster-slogan and poem writing was included, facilitated by the NDEP

Coordinator. Putting of school bulletin displays was also given emphasis in lined with the year’s

theme.

Indeed, self-discipline and self-awareness of every Filipinos especially the youth is the key

to stop the cases of drug abuse. God bless us Filipinos and long live.
