Dear Writer in me,

I am putting a lot of courage together to write this letter to you. While I
am writing this, I ask you to show little mercy on my self-esteem and try
to overlook the mistakes and have a broad outlook to understand why I
am writing this to you.
I have great admiration for how you want to write something that could
change this world for a better cause. But I must tell you that you are too
hard on yourself.
I witness your struggle every day with one masterpiece that you are
trying to write. I say there is nothing wrong with it but questioning your
competence each time you fail to put together the ideas is not healthy
for both of us. I want to remind you why you started writing in the first
place? To express yourself with words without restricting yourself.
Initially, you never restrained your writing. You wrote everything and
about anything. I agree with you least having a purpose while writing.
If I remember, you said once that your purpose was writing and it made
you happy. I see you far from being happy.
Both of us are in this together & last weekend you left a short story in
the middle because you thought it wasn't good enough. You should
complete that story. We both need that short story; all of us start from
something small.
May be our big shot is that small story!

Your optimistic self
