This document summarizes a study on the influence of mothers' perceptions of birthing services on their satisfaction in Kayen Village, Pati Regency, Indonesia. The study used a survey method with 80 respondent mothers and analyzed the data quantitatively and qualitatively. The results found that mothers' perceptions of birthing procedures, abilities of birthing attendants, facilities, and services of traditional birth attendants influenced their satisfaction levels. The conclusion is that mothers' perceptions of birthing services influence their satisfaction, so efforts should be made to improve midwives' skills in providing birthing services in Kayen Village.

Background : A high level of mother and baby’s death in giving birth
depends on the quality of health service especially pregnancy treatment and perturition aid. Therefore supplying the high quality parturation rescue services are needed and midwife is one of the choice. The fact parturition service by indegenous baby practioner is still preferred by the society. Seeing, the influence expectant mother’s perception of parturition service for the satisfaction of expectant mother until getting maximal result, which last appears interest feeling with the given service. Then the purpose of this research is to analyze the influence expectant mother’s perception of parturition service for the satisfaction of expectant mother’s. Method : The research include with the survey method and cross sectional approach. The respondent consists of 80 expectant mothers. The taking of sample is purposively. The analyze beingwith done with quantitative method using analiyze chi square and double regression with the statistical program for social science (SPSS), with the significance 5% and qualitative method. Result : The result of this research is there is influence procedure for satisfaction of expectant mother (p<0,05), ability for satisfaction of expectaion of expectant mother (p<0,05), facility for satisfaction of expectant mother (p<0,05), and parturition service of indigenous baby practitioner influence satisfaction of expectant mother. So the conclution is there is influence of parturition service for satisfaction of expectant mother. As the effort of development, is neededto increase the ability of midwife in giving parturition service in Kayen village Pati regenty. PENDAHULUAN Penurunan angka kematia ibu melahirkan merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan pelayanan kesehatan sehingga menekan angka kematian ibu melahirkan merupakan skala prioritas program untuk mencapai Indonesia sehat 2010. Pemerintah telah berusaha untuk meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat, yang upaya itu belum membuahkan hasil yang memuaskan. Hal ini terlihat diari MMR yang masih tinggi, yaitu 390 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup. Angka ini masih yang tertinggi dibandingkan negara-negara tetangga, seperti Thailand 57 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup, Philipina 74 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup, malaysia 40 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup bahkan di Singapura jauh lebih rendah yaitu 10 per 100.000kelahiran hidup. Kematian ibu bersalin sangat tergantung pada kualitas pelayanan kesehatan yang diterima, khususnya perawatan kehamilan dan pertolongan persalinan. Perawatan kehamilan yang baik harus diikuti dengan pertolongan persalinan yang baik pula. Oleh karena itu penyediaan tenaga penolong persalinan yang berkualitas sangat diperlukan guna perbaikan pelayanan persalinan untuk mengurangi jumlah Angka Kematian Ibu (AKI) dan Angka Kematian Bayi yang relatif tinggi di Indonesia.
