Catur Paramitha
Catur Paramitha comes from Sanskrit. The word Catur means Four
and the word Paramitha means Good Behavior. Catur Paramitha
means Four Good Behaviors. Catur Paramitha is a teaching that
guides Hindus to behave well/properly in their daily lives.
The Four Good Behaviors are:
1. Maitri means friendly. everyone should be considered as a friend.
As Hindus are taught to be friendly with anyone.
2. Karuna means helping. This behavior is an example of our love for
others.
3. Mudita means tolerance. Tolerance means respecting the feelings
or interests of others.
4. Upeksa means not being involved in other people's business.
Upeksa also means humble and know putting oneself.
