Greetings to all Officials, Faculty and Staff!

I just want to reiterate the Core Values of the College, SCRIBES

Stewardship – everything that we have today is borrowed. Our
influence, our power, our environment and our lives. Thypoon….. Live
our life to the fullest, live as if we gonna die tomorrow. Let us do good
(beneficence) and always remember the ethical principle of non-
maleficence, do not do harm or think of any harm towards other people.
Competence – an academic institution run by competent people will
never go astray. The purpose of training and education is to guide every
individual to become competent one.
Resilience – We must be strong in trying time, never to surrender of
believe in defeat. Thypoon pa rin, despite life challenges we must go on,
never surrender/never suko.
Integrity – to be persuasive we must be believable, to be believable we
must be credible and to be credible we must be truthful. Meaning we
need to be honest in all our dealing. This week will be our examination
week and I urge everyone to be truthful/honest in the examination. No
cheating.
Balance – Life is best lived in harmony. Balance is crucial to a good life.
Even in our physical body or psychological, hemostasis is a must for us to
remain healthy and alive. Faculty not to give too much for our students….
Excellence – There is still no substitute to excellence. Its hard to achieve
but is can be start as a habit. As we strive for excellence let us stay
humble, as a saying goes and I quote, a tree that wants to touch the sky
must extend its roots into the earth. The more it wants to rise upwards,
the more it has to grow downwards. So to rise in life, we must be down
to earth, humble and grateful.
Service – Community service and development is what makes a
University/College, otherwise we become an academic institution for
nothing. Serve like Jesus, wlang itinatangi, must be fair and practice the
principle of Justice.
