Beluga, the largest airliner in the world

Airbus A300 – 600ST. Known as Beluga, the French company used to transport large parts of aircraft: the
fuselage, wings, tails or engine components. The five cargo planes transported satellites, helicopters and
art pieces massive, like the work of Delacroix’s „ Liberty Leading the People”, which was so transported
from Paris to Tokyo with a Bluga, because the blade woult not fit in any another plane. Similarlly, an
Egyptian statue five meters arrived from Berlin to Paris. Airbus Beluga makes about 60 weekly flights
from 11 destinations. It is carrying a crew of three people – two pilots and a technician. Actually, Beluga
is a version of the A300 – 600 passenger aircraft modified to carry cargo very larg. Production of this
type of aircraft began in 1994. Currently five such planes are in service, all operated by Airbus Transport
International, a subsidiary of Airbus. Airbus A300 – 600ST (Super Transported) aircraft cargo volume is
the biggest in the world. The largest aircraft in the world is Antonov AN – 225, developed by URSS to
transport space ship Buran. After the collapse of the USSR remained the property of the Ukrainian
company Antonov and was used to transport oversize air.

Only the cockpit is pressurized, while the cargo area is inaccessible during flight. Even though it has a
higher volume of transport than the C - 5 Galaxy of Americans have restriction of transport of 47 tons. C
– 5 Galaxy can carry up to 122.5 tons. Unbelievable. The maximum speed attainable is 857.53 km/h. He
can fly without stopping, with a load of about 40 tonnes and up to 2.779 kilometers. A new Type of
aircraft, Airbus Beluga XL, built on Airbus A330, will come into use in 2020. It has a flight autonomy
higher, heavier load, but with the same ability to land on runaway relatively short, such as in Broughton,
Wales, where Airbus produces wings for its planes. The next generation of Airbus Beluga allows you to
double the number of cargo flights per week, to 120.

Since ancient times, people have tried to overcome limits and achieve the impossible. And how our
ancestors looked up, they have the heights of heaven, which at the time was ruled by birds, the only
beings with wings from birth. But that did not cut momentum, on the contrary, man has tried by all
means to defy gravity and eventually succeeded, in one way or another. The world has moved on and
now we have a lot of ways to fly. From parachute jumps to travel by plane, only to have the courage and
desire to do insane. About 200,000 flights take place every day worldwide. The food tastes different
pressure. For example, we do not perceive as strong salty taste and therefore drinking tomato juice on
the plane seems sweet. So-called "black boxes" that record everything that makes aircraft are actually
orange. That give the white stripe planes in the sky can be used to predict the weather. In 1920, a ticket
costs only $ 5. The planes that make international flights are usually flag of the country they belong print
queue. It often happens that the pilots to sleep during flights. Fortunately, planes have a system that
allows them to set the coordinates and then relax. Furthermore, there's co-pilot. Flight plane is the
second safest form of travel in the world. The first is the elevator, but it's not like you can go too far. The
pilot and copilot are forced to eat differently if a mass of them could could cause food poisoning. Busiest
airport Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta in the world is International Airport.
