Group 1: Balloon on Wall

Material Needed:
- A balloon
Procedure:
1. Charge the balloon by rubbing it on the hair, shirt or sweater.
2. Gently hold the balloon against the wall and release.

Material Needed:
- A balloon
Procedure:
1. Inflate and charge balloon by rubbing against your hair.
2. Move the balloon away.

Group 3: Charged Interactions
Materials Needed:
- A meter stick
- An adhesive tape
Procedure:
1. Using a meter stick, pull off a 40-to 60-cm piece of adhesive tape
and fold a short section of it to make a nonsticky “ handle” at the
end of the tape.
2. Lay the tape adhesive side down and slide your finger along the
tape to firmly attach it to a smooth, dry surface of a table.
3. Peel the tape from the surface vigorously pulling up the handle
you have made on one end.
4. While holding the tape up by the handle and away from the other
objects, attach the tape to the horizontal wooden piece.
5. Bring your finger near, but not touching, the nonsticky side of the
tape.
