RESEARCH VISION
It is so often that we observe happenings with regards to the War on Drugs, may it be in
RESEARCH PROBLEM
The researchers have come up with the problem about how the issue on the War on
drugs and songs (focusing on the album “Kolateral”) contribute to the changes of the
OBJECTIVES
The goal of the researchers is to be able to identify the words or uses of words that have
been used or are being used in the issue on the War on drugs with regards to the
mentioned album that contributed to the change of the uses of the Filipino Language,
and then analyze what the uses of those words were and their various meanings by the
person who used the word or from other people's understandings. After analyzing, the
researchers will be able to draw conclusion about the how different or close the
comprehension of the listener or reader from the message that the writer or speaker is
trying to convey, and how diverse the comprehensions are, and how they have

RESEARCH PLAN/PROCEDURE
First, each researcher will be assigned to a participant that has a liking for music. Then,
they will be interviewed using the research questions. All answers will be recorded and
used for data processing, in which the researchers will draw a conclusion from there.
INSTRUMENTATIONS AND RESEARCH APPROACH/DESIGN
The researchers will use a qualitative form of design. The instruments needed are a pen
and pad paper for the guide questions and documentation, a phone and earphones for the
participants to listen to the songs assigned and the ethical consent of the participants.
Four participants will be interviewed (one per student), and all of them should be
teachers of Don Bosco Makati; two would be chosen from the Junior High School
Department and the other two from the Senior High School Department. There is no
certainty that insights of the two pairs from on department would be different from the
other, but there is a higher chance, of course, compared to choosing four teachers from
OPERATIONALIZATION
On using qualitative design, our desire on our study js to be able to identify the words or
uses of words that have been used or are being used in the issue on the War on drugs
with regards to the mentioned album, Our desired respondents are 4 teachers from
Don Bosco Technical Institute of Makati 2 from the senior high school department And
the other 2 are from the junior high school department, we will let the participants listen
to the music that we personally choose, after they’re done listening we will question
them using our guide questions, After that we will draw our conclusions.
