Common Issues in DPR

• The cost of major items taken in the scheme estimate is on the higher side
as compared to actual prices in purchase orders.
• In some schemes, Autocad drawings of the proposal are not attached.
Only hand drawn sketches are present especially in old schemes (08-09,
09-10).
• In some schemes, GIS red lining is not attached in SAP which is many a
times desired by DERC.
• DERC format is missing in many schemes.
• The executive summary is not coherent many times. Same details are
repeated over and again.
• There are errors in PDF scheme copy in some cases and in many cases no
data is present against different fields.
• Justification (more prevalent in old schemes) is not elaborate. Lack of
data, Lack of explanation
• Sick cable Schemes: Fault history, Signature Analysis Report not available
