corn near the pastureland of Mr. Sanny Chinaman, Sr. sir.

(Iti pinagammok isuda ti agmulmula ti mais nga asideg ijay

pasto ni Mr. Chinaman sir.)

7. Q: You have previously mentioned that they are the ones

who planted corn near the pastureland of Mr. Chinaman, what
do you think the reason/s why they have filed this case against
Mr. Chinaman?

(Inbagam nga isuda ti agmulmula ti mais asideg ayan ti pasto

ni Mr. Chinaman, ana ti ammum nga makagapo nu apay

Chinaman ti nangperdi kadagiti mula nga mais ti plaintiffs sir.)

9. Q: So, what do you think the reason/s why the corns of the
plaintiffs have been destroyed?

(Ana ti ammom nga makagapu nu apay naperdi dagiti mula

A: That was caused by the then strong typhoon Ompong

way back September 2018 sir and then followed by another
super typhoon Rosita which brought great damage and ruins at
our province last October 2018 sir.

(Ti makagapu sir ket ajay napalabas nga napigsa nga bagyong
Ompong idi September 2018 nga napasarunwan pay iti napigsa
manen nga bagyong Rosita nga adu ti naperperdi da nga
sanikwa idiay probinsya mi idi October 2018 sir.)

10. Q: Why did you say that the corns of the plaintiffs were
destroyed by these Typhoons?

(Kasano nga naibagam nga dagituy bagyo ti makagapo nu apay

naperdi dagiti mais nga mula ti plaintiffs?)

A: After every typhoon sir, I and my other companions went

to visit the pastureland of Mr. Chinaman to check if the cows
were alright, if there were fallen tree trunks and to see to it if
the perimeter fences were destroyed. And along our way to the
pastureland, we have seen that almost of the cornfields that we
have passed by were totally destroyed by the typhoons
including the cornfield of the plaintiffs which is near the
pastureland of Mr. Chinaman.

(Nu kada malpas ti bagyo sir, siyak ken dagiti kakadwak ket
mapmapan mi bisitaen adiay pasto ni Mr. Chinaman tapnu
maamwan mi nu nasayaat mit lang dagiti taraken nga baka, nu
adda ti natintinnag nga kaykayo ken makita mi nu adda ti
naperperdi nga bakod. Ken idi paapan kami idiay pasto, nakita
mi nga halos amin nga madalanan mi nga maisan ket naperdi ti
bagyo karaman nan tay maisan dagiti plaintiffs nga karruba
lang tay pasto ni Mr. Chinaman sir.)

11. Q: The plaintiffs alleged that beginning 2016, the perimeter

fences of Mr. Chinaman were always broken that became the
cause why the cows went outside, what can you say about this?

( Imbaga dagituy plaintiffs nga nangrugi idi 2016, adiay bakod

ti pasto ni Mr. Chinaman ket kanayun nga maperdi nga isu ti
nagbalin nga rason nu apay nakarwar dagiti baka na, ana ti
makunam dayta nga banag?

A: It is impossible sir, because almost every day we went to

visit the pastureland of Mr. Chinaman to repair or change the
decayed woods which were used as fence and also to repair the
barbed wire, which is the reason sir why the pastureland of Mr.
Chinaman is always well kept and in an orderly manner.
(Imposible ata sir ta halos inaldaw kami nga mapmapan
agbisita idiay pasto ni Mr. Chinaman tapnu agurnus wen nu
sukatan dagiti naperdi nga kaykayo nga nausar nga bakod ken
urnusin adiay “barbed wire,” nga isu atuy ti rason sir nu apay
adiay pasto ni Mr. Chinaman ket naurnus latta.
