I. Objective
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
1. Recognize the Filipino contemporary composers through listening to their
respective musical works.
2. Identify the music of the different Filipino composers.
3. Adopt the music of the Filipinos with the music of foreign composers.

II. Subject Matter


A. Topic: Filipino Contemporary Composers
B. Materials: Speaker
C. Reference: MAPEH-CAT (Music, Art, Physical Education, and Health- Citizenship
Advancement Training) by Vilma V. Perez, Lillian N. Luna, Crisanto E. Tomas, and
Danilo A. Clemente, Ed.D

III. Procedure
A. Daily Routine
1. Prayer
2. Greetings
3. Checking of attendance
4. Energizer
B. Motivation
The teacher should give a short quiz about the previous lesson.
C. Lesson Proper
Activity- The teacher will play some of the music composition of the Filipino
contemporary Composers.

Analysis- What did you observe about the compositions?


What did you feel after hearing the music?

Abstraction- The teacher will discuss the Filipino contemporary composers and
their compositions.

Application- The students will select the music that played and discussed, and
they will perform (Singing, dancing or Acting)
D. Evaluation
The teacher will be the one who will give a grade and a comment to each groups
work.
