A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION

ADMINISTRATION (NEA) TO INCLUDE IN THE PRIORITY PROJECTS OF

THEIR OFFICE THE ELECTRIFICATION OF SITIO STO. NINO, BARANGAY
NAPSAN TO BARANGAY BAGONG-BAYAN, AND BARANAGAY SIMPOCAN UP
TO SITIO TAGKAWAYAN, BARANGAY BACUNGAN, CITY OF PUERTO
PRINCESA
WHEREAS, the National Electrification Administration (NEA) has formerly
allocated funds for the electrification of rural barangays in Puerto princesa City,
particularly Bgy. Napsan, Simpocan and Bagong – Bayan;
WHEREAS, for some reason the project stopped at Sitio Sto. Nino, Barangay
Napsan;
WHEREAS, the program is necessary because there is still no electricity in the
area and the people were hoping for the completion of the project;
WHEREAS, the aforesaid barangays are potential tourism destination because a
lot of scenic beaches are situated in the area;
WHEREAS, many investors are also waiting for the electrification of these
barangays in order to start the construction of their businesses;
WHEREAS, the Globe Telecommunication is already constructing its cell sites in
order for the communities in the area to cope up with the developments of the
city proper;
