    ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

    I feel proud to preserve my physics investigatory


    project “To find the refractive indexes of (a) water
    (b) oil using a plane mirror, anequiconvex lens,
    and an adjustable object needle”.
    This project would not have been feasible without the
    proper guidance and support of Mr. B.Sinha who
    guided me throughout this project in every possible
    way. An investigatory project involves various
    experiments, which have to obtain the observations
    and conclude the reports on meaningful notes.
    Thereby I would like to give special thanks to our
    esteemed principal Mr. H.P.Singh, chemistry sir, lab
    attendant sir for their support to ensure the
    completing of this project. Rigorous hard work has
    been put in this project to ensure that it proves to be
    one of the best.
    Last but not the least I own my overwhelming
    gratitude to my family and friends who gave me
    constant support and motivation to continue with
    this endeavour.
