The graph below shows the number of books read by men and women at Burnaby Public Library from
2011 to 2014.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons
where relevant.

The provided line graph gives information about the amount of books read by men and women over the
period of 4 years between 2011 and 2014 at Burnaby Public Library.

As is presented, there were different trends for men and women. There was a steady increase in the
number of men from 2000 to 3000 during the year 2011 and 2012. The amount of men rose
dramatically (3000 to 14000) and reached to its peak level in the year 2014.

On the other hand, in the start women were more in number than men around about 5000 during the
year 2011. Between 2012 and 2013, the number of women went up gradually from 7000 to 10000 which
was the boomed period. However, in 2014 their number went down to 8000 again.

In conclusion, there was a strong upward trend in the number of books read by men. While women
started increasing between 2011 and 2013 but fell back again during 2014.

which was the boomed period. However, in 2014 their number went down to 8,000 again.

In conclusion, there was a strong upward trend of male book readers in the number of books read by
men. While women readers had boomed between 2011 and 2013 but fell back again during 2014.

The line graph below shows the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different
attractions in Brighton.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons
where relevant.

The line graph gives information about the percentage of tourists to England who visited four different
attractions in Brighton (Art Gallery, Pavilion, Pier, and Festival) between 1980 and 2010.

As it can be seen, there was a sharp increased in the percentage of Pavilion tourists from 24% to 48%
during 1980 to 1995 and then the ratio slumped to 31% in 2010. The Art Gallery tourists also followed
the same trend as of Pavilion. Visitors went up dramatically from 22% to 37% between 1980 and 1985
and then gradually declined to less than 10% in the next twenty five years.

While on the other hand, the percentage of Pier tourists was much fluctuated in the first twenty years
and then it boomed to 22% in 2010. In 1980, the Festival visitors were at their peak point of 31% which
steadily dropped to 24% during 1995. Between the years 1995 and 2010 there was moderate growth
which remained stable at 25 %.
In conclusion, Pavilion was on the top that caught most of the attentions of the tourists. However, the
percentage of Art gallery visitors was more than that of Pavilion but it went down significantly till the
end of 2010.

The line graph below shows the changes in the share price of Outokumpu companies in euros
between January 2006 and December 2010.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The provided line graph represents the changes in the share price of Outokumpu companies over the
period of five years from January 2006 to December 2010.

As is observed, in the beginning of the period the share price was about EUR 13 per share. Then there
was a sharp increased in the share price till the end of 2006 and the price reached to its peak level of
EUR 31 per share. This higher price did not last long, however, and it fell before rising strongly again in
the year 2008. In the mid of 2008, the price went up gradually at EUR 30 per share but it did not
remained stable and slumped to its lowest price of EUR 7 per share in the end of 2008.

Although there was some fluctuation in the share price between the years 2009 and 2010 but it
recovered a lot and go up at EUR 12 per share until the end of 2010.

In conclusion, the share price of Outokumpu companies faced an overall downward trend. While they
made some significant gains and losses but it end ups with a loss of EUR 1 per share.

The graph below shows the amount of money spent on books in Germany, France, Italy and
Austria between 1995 and 2005.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information below.

The line graph compares the amount of money spent on books by four different countries (Germany,
France, Italy and Austria) over the period of ten years from 1995 to 2005.

As it is presented, Germany was on the top that spent U.S $ 80,000,000 on books while Austria spent
only U.S $ 30,000,000 which was the least amount during 1995. However, the amount of money spent in
1995 by France and Italy was U.S $ 50,000,000 and U.S $ 55,000,000 respectively. Germany spending
gradually increased to U.S $ 90,000,000 between 1997 and 1999 which slightly dropped down to U.S $
85,000,000 till 2003. The same growth trend was followed by Austria which spent U.S $ 40,000,000 then
remained stable till 2001. Then there was marked uplift and reached to its peak level of U.S $
61,000,000 in the year 2005.

Although, there were some fluctuation in the spending of Italy but at the end of the year 2005 it went
up to U.S $ 65,000,000. France spending was as much of Italy in the start but from 2001 to 2005 the gap
had widened and France spent more than that of Italy and climbed to U.S $ 75,000,000 in the year 2005.

In conclusion, during this decade, Germany was the biggest spender on books, with all three other
countries spending much less on them.

The graph below shows the population change between 1940 and 2000 in three different counties
in the U.S. state of Oregon.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons
where relevant.

The line graph gives information about the change in population of three different countries (Columbia,
Yamhill and Washington) in U.S state of Oregon from 1940 to 2000.

As is observed, Columbia had the lowest population of around 25000 during 1940, while Yamhill
population was 30,000 and Washington was on the top with a population of 75000 in that year.
Between 1940 and 1970, the population of Columbia had gradually risen to just under 36000. The
Yamhill had also followed the same growth trend and moved up to 45000. Although this appears on the
graph as a gentle increase, but in fact it went up approximately 50%. However, there was a sharp uplift
in the population of Washington from 75000 to just about 125,000 in 1970.

During the period 1970 to 2000, the population of Washington dramatically goes up and reached to its
peak point of about 245,000. While on the other hand, there was also marked increased in both
countries (Yamhill and Columbia) population and moved to 90,000 and 75000 respectively, was almost
triple that it had been in 1940.

In conclusion, Washington was on top of the list with a highest population as compared to Yamhill and
Columbia.
