Final Project Overview 

 
Your final film is a 3 to 10 minute final narrative project. The focus should be in narrative 
storytelling. If you want to branch outside, get prior approval.  
 
EACH GROUP MEMBER SHOULD HAVE A KEY ROLE ON THE PRODUCTION! 
 
Mandatory Roles:  
Director, Cinematographer, Producer, Editor 
Supplemental Roles:  
Sound Designer, Assistant Director

There are multiple components to your final project. You will have to:  
1. Turn in TWO DRAFTS of your final screenplay (200 points) 
2. Complete a Pre-Production Packet (100 points) 
3. A Lookbook (100 points) 
4. First Edit and Screening Edit (200 points)

a. Rough Edit of the ENTIRE film 
 
5. Screening Edit ​DUE APRIL 27th by 5pm 
a. Final version to be screened at the ​Southern Reel Showcase on April 28th
