FINAL PAPER/PRESENTATION

Using what you have learned (or not learned) in this class you will conduct research and construct a
strong 5-8 page argumentative paper on any film/tv show/etc that you are interested in. FIND
SOMETHING THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. Use your passions to lead you in a direction. Ask yourself
what do I care about? Am I more interested in the formal construction of films? What about the
sociopolitical implications? Audience studies?

Part of the process is the challenge of having to make your own decisions and narrow down your
argument from broad stroke ideas into a condensed, specific, and articulate argument.

THIS IS A FORMAL PAPER THAT REQUIRES YOU TO CITE SOURCES AND HAVE A BIBLIOGRAPHY.
