A rare opportunity to work as an English only Network Engineer role at a multinational investment bank with
competitive pay in Tokyo, Japan!

The role is for a Data Center Migration / Deployment project looking to build a team experienced in hands-on
network security technology such as Cisco ASA and Check Point Firewalls.
The overall service plan for the project is as follows:

 Network designing (Design guide will be provided)

 Procurement
 Patch Request creation
 HW rack and stack (under confirmation. DXC facility might take care of it)
 Configuration of various NW devices (Cisco, McAfee, Checkpoint etc)
 Service Migration
 Coordination with Carrier / Vendor
 Attend Change Management calls
 Project status update / report to GNS stakeholders
 Attend Project meetings
 Assist Application owners for Service Migration with Firewall policy updates
 Documentation (Diagram, HW, Circuits, Spare parts etc)
 Testing (NW testing, Application failover testing etc)
 Troubleshooting (Calls / Standby support on Monday mornings after big migration)
 Handover to Ops

Cisco ASA and Check Point Firewalls
Context based mode is available in Cisco ASA Firewall whereas Checkpoint Firewall has a similar offering
which is known as Security Gateway Virtual Edition (VE). Cisco ASA Firewall can have only 2 gateways in
an active/active Cluster. On the contrary Checkpoint Cluster XL can support up to 5 Gateways in a cluster.
