 Dance in school has a profound effect on wellness. It
can enhance joy and tranquility among struggling students and
alleviate stress in schools impacted by violence and bullying. The
link between physical activity and educational achievement is
well-established. However, dance has the added benefit of
improving mental function, boosting self-esteem, and aiding
confidence. The result is a happier, healthier student body.

The Goma National High School composed its own dance

troupe. The students from different year level undergone
screening to be chosen as one of the dance troupe. One of its
objectives is to hone the student’s potential and talents especially
in dancing. Whenever there are school activities or outside the
school activities, they will perform. During the Araw ng Barangay
Goma, the GNHS dance troupe perform in the DEPED Night that
was held on Sept. 24, 2019. They also performed during the Back
to School program last Nov. 11, 2019 and the recently concluded
3rd Foundation Day of GNHS.
