BU Quality Policy.

Bicol University commits to continually strive for excellence in instruction, research,

and extension by meeting the highest level of clientele satisfaction and adhering to quality standards.

BU Mission. The Bicol University shall primarily give professional and technical training and provide
advanced and specialized instruction in literature, philosophy, the sciences and arts, besides providing
for the promotion of scienctific and technological researches (Republic Act No. 5521, Section 3.0)

BU Vision. A world-class university producing leaders and change agents for social transformation and
development.

Institutional Learning Outcomes:

1. Provide quality education and trainings in the field of education, science and technology;

2. Undertake social, developmental and applied scientific researches that are relevant to the regional
and national goals;

3. Undergo efficient and effective extension program through service and community related activities;
and

4. Engage in sustainable income generating projects to increase financial capabilities of the institution.

College Learning Outcomes:

The BUCN graduate shall:

1. Demonstrate desirable values and attitude towards self, others, and profession.

2. Practice evidence-based, safe and quality health care to individuals, family, population, group, and
communities towards the improvement of the lives of the Filipinos in particular, and humankind in
general.

3. Manifest fundamental leadership and management skills in various health care settings using
innovative system-approach in the delivery of client care.

4. Exemplify commitment to service in the promotion of health and prevention of illnes, alleviation of
suffering, and restoration of health.

5. Actively participate in activities related to environmental health and climate change adaptation,
gender equality and development, and global partnership towards community resiliency and
