GUIDELINES FOR THE GIVING OF


GAWAD PESOMAP

Rationale:

The Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE) banked on the PESOs


nationwide in ensuring delivery of employment services and opportunities. It has
acknowledged its partnership with the Public Employment Service Office Managers
Association of the Philippines (PESOMAP) in the delivery of such whose members have
unselfishly performed and discharged functions relative to employment facilitation
with a commendable demonstration of exemplary work performances even up to their
retirement age. It is along this line that PESOMAP will be recognizing the deserving
and qualified members based on the guidelines as follow:

Qualification:

Category A: Must be a PESO Manager who rendered 15 continuous years or more in


public service as such until the day of his/her retirement.

Category B: Must be a PESO Manager who rendered at least 10 continuous years in


public service as such until the day of his/her retirement.

Category C: Must be a PESO Manager who is appointed and/or designated as such


until the day of his/her death.

Documentary Requirements:

1) Certification/Service Record from the concerned LGU duly signed by the LCE
indicating therein his/her appointment/designation as PESO Manager.

2) Certification from the concerned DOLE-Regional Office confirming the number


of years served as PESO Manager.

3) Notice and/or Death Certificate is to be added in the case of Category C.

Award:

Category A: Plaque of Recognition

Category B: Certificate of Recognition

Category C: Posthumous Award
