IV. LESSON PROPPER

Very good Class! Now I will execute to

you the basic strokes or hits of
badminton.

The first strokes I demonstrate to the ( the student demonstrate the clear
class is Clear, Clear is the shot done strokes)
with the stroke above the head, the
shuttle travelling up targeting the long
service line; usually done to give the
player to return to base position. Can
you demonstrate again what clear stroke
position is?

The next stroke is Lob, Lob shot done

with the stroke below the head about
waist level, the shuttle is travelling up.
Can you execute it on the front?

Drop shot usually done with the stroke

above the head , the shuttle travelling up
but dropping just near the net; usually
done for placing purposes. Can you
execute it on the front?

Net drop/shot usually done with the

stroke below the head the shuttle
traveling just barreling touching the net.
Can you execute it on the front?

And landing near it; usually done for

placing purposes.

Drive shot usually done with stroke

above the level of the head the shuttle
travelling straight or flat over the net.
Can you execute it on the front?

Smash shot done with the stroke above

the head the shuttle travelling down with
power and speed considered one of the
most powerful attack in badminton. Can
you execute it on the front?

V. APPLICATION

Get your partner and you will perform

the strokes or hits you will pick.
