Personal information:

Name: Quang Duc Ngo

Date of birth: 28/09/1998

Statement:

I am a freelancer. Most of my photographs capture the social issues in Vietnamese modern

city that people have to cope with nowadays. Specifically, I am also interested in exlporing
how the foreign culture exchange has influenced Vietnamese society.

I have only started my journey with photography for 2 years. Mostly I learn about photography
by self-taught experience. The most recent workshop I attended is the workshop Dailylife 6
organized by ?. This has enriched my awareness of doing a photo collection of Hanoi Commented [tn1]: Workshop được tổ chức bởi đơn vị nào?
showwing the transformation process of Hanoi itself in the era of integration. The subject of
this topic is the broken houses and the participation of people during this progress. Seeing
these old houses gradually collapse, I question whether this change is good; when people
have to replace their familiar houses that closely relate to their past with new tall buildings. I
also question these people’s emotion and their thinking of such an event.

By registering this workshop, I hope to master the skills to develop a long-term photo project.
I also want to study how to convey my concept appropriately through the editing photos
process.

Here I have attached my photos which include 21 orginal photos I took and 5 final photos that
have been enhanced in the anti-face mode after I was consulted by Jamie in the workshop Commented [tn2]: Tên họ đầy đủ
Dailylife 6. By this way, the audience would be curious when they don't know exactly the
feelings of people in the photos in the dilapidation scene.
