Access to Clean Water

in Brgy. San Miguelay Sta. Fe Leyte

Water is essential in so many ways. Running water. Drinking

water. Deep well. These are some of the sources of water in Brgy. San
Miguelay. As we observed, people there were having some difficulties
with regards to the usage of water for it is not that clear and clean. Our
group, H₂O Squad, agreed to have a solution which is the “Man-made
Filter” which allows a translucent water becomes completely clear and
clean.

The purpose of this project is to have a clean and clear water for
Brgy. San Miguelay. With the use of indigenous materials such as rocks,
either small or large, and a clean unused clothes, we can now have our
intended purpose.

Since all the materials to be used is not that difficult to provide, it

is easy to have and make a “Man-made Filter”. Rocks and unused
clothes serves as strainer of the translucent water. In order to retain a
clear and clean water, we need to put some unused clothes on top of the
rocks and layer by layer.
