1) Primary Function
▪ Why does the job exist? • With the increase in the complexity of the Sales function, both in terms of Manpower
additions/ and organizational building, its imperative that the recruitment, training &
onboarding of new employees be anchored by HR within the region. This role will
also be business partnering at cluster and division level.
• Additionally with respect to current staff , this role will be more business facing, and
will work with the Cluster Managers/Division heads on areas of Sales Reps,Sales
Manager, Cluster & Market Manager level hiring coordination, incentive & allowance
management, as well as being more involved in solving local people related issues,
increasing engagement, employee management , PMS processes etc.
2) Working Relationships:
▪ HRBP-Sales (India) (as the resource will be responsible for 2 regions, will business
▪ Reports to whom? partner the Region Sales Director /VP’s etc)
▪ Supervises whom? ▪ Will work closely with the Sales & HR Directors on projects to Productivity of sales
▪ Peer Relationships reps.
▪ Individual contributor role however will work closely with staffing partners.

▪ Cluster Managers, Divisional Heads, Divisional Trade Marketing Managers.

▪ Other Measurable Factors? ▪ Manage HR budgets for the region.
Compensation:
• Custodian of Sales Reps. compensation
• Responsible for inputs on payroll & benefits records.
• Will work in close consultation with divisional heads& central HR for
increase exercises etc and be involved in the final increase roll out.
• Will work with Sales/HR Directors on compensation philosophy etc
especially for frontline sales force.
Training:
• Draw up a training schedule as per the needs specified for each region
• Ensure the requisite training modules are shared with the Sales Team
• Work closely with the Sales Training Manager in execution of training within the
region
• Focus competency buildup for identified high performers and high potentials.
This position requires regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies. Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work overtime, as necessary, is
required.
