RESOLUTION NO. 03, SERIES OF 2019

RESOLUTION ON THE PURCHASE OF PRESCRIPTIVE EYEWEAR FOR THE

PROJECT/PROGRAM MALINAW NA KINABUKASAN FOR PUPILS OF
LINGAYEN I CENTRAL SCHOOL

WHEREAS, the Synchronized Barangay and Sangguninang Kabataan Election

(SBSKE) was held on May 14, 2018 pursuant to RA 10952;

WHEREAS, Section 20 (c) states that the SK Officials should prioritize the
projects prescribed such as: quality education, environmental protection, climate
change adaptation, disaster risk reduction and resiliency, youth employment and
livelihood, health, including health services and adolescent sexual and
reproductive health, anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development, and
capability building which emphasizes leadership training;

WHEREAS, Section 8 (d) states that one of the powers and functions of the SK
Officials is to initiate and implement programs and projects designed to promote
the general welfare, development and empowerment of the youth;

WHEREAS, as one of the projects stated in the CY 2018 Revised Annual

Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) under Health conduct of Medical
Mission that program of prescriptive eyewear should be implemented;

WHEREAS, based on the number of pupils who needs prescriptive eyewear

present in the barangay an amount of Thirty Five Thousand Pesos (P35,000) is
needed for the purchase of prescriptive eyewear for thirty six (36) pupils of
Lingayen I Central School;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of SK Kagawad Jovi Ann S. Tolentino duly

seconded by all of the Sangguniang Kabataan members present; be it:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to concur and approve the

purchase of prescriptive eyewear;

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to all

concerned agencies/offices, for their information and guidance.
