Course Title Engineering Trigonometry Course Code: B2
Course Description Topics include right triangle trigonometry; trigonometric functions of special angles; graphs of trigonometric functions and their inverses; trigonometric
identities including sums and differences of angles, double angle, half angle, power reduction, sum to product, and product to sum; trigonometric equations;
introduction to vectors; parametric equations; polar coordinates; arcs and sectors; dampened waves; complex numbers.

To pass this course, one must accumulate at least 75 percent through the course requirements discussed above. The maximum points that a
student can obtain through each requirement are shown below:

9. CLASSROOM POLICIES

1. There will be two (2) term exams in this course – midterm and final term examinations.
2. Make – up exams will be given provided that the reason for not taking the exam is excused and as approved by the Dean of the College of Engineering
and Technology.
3. Regular attendance is expected which is stipulated in the student handbook will be followed.
4. Avoid boisterous conduct or any action tends to distract on going activities in class.
5. Always observe classroom policies, such as turning electrical devices and cleaning the classroom.
6. Final grade of students shall be given to concern students.
