Transmission ASM
Removal 7. Remove the exhaust pipe bracket.
The transmission case and clutch housing are made of
aluminum. Take sufficient care to prevent them from
becoming damaged. In particular, damage to the rib
causes strength reduction. It is necessary to exercise
extreme precaution.
In addition, be careful not to injure yourself when
handling heavy components such as cases.
• Place chock block to the wheels.
• Tilt the cab.
• Remove the battery cable (-).
NOTE:
Protect disconnected terminals by putting a plastic bag
over them so as to prevent dust and foreign materials
from mixing in.
