Greetings in the name of service!

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 7079, otherwise known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the
Department of Education- Region 02 shall conduct the 2018 Regional Schools Press Conference
(RSPC) in City of Ilagan on November 17-21. This endeavor aims to display understanding of
the significance of journalism by expressing it through talents and skills in different categories in
campus journalism, promote advocacy on social consciousness and environmental awareness,
and foster 21st century skills and character-based education.
In lieu hereof, I am seeking for financial support which I will use to finance my registration fee
amounting to Php 1,400.00 and other related expenses to confirm my participation in the said
event. I appeal to your heart, encouraging you to provide a contribution to this rare affair. Even
though this may sound like a small action on your part, another young student-journalist will
already benefit from it upholding and protecting the freedom of the press at the campus level and
promoting the development and growth of campus journalism among us.
It would be an honor to receive a support from you as I earn another reputation as a dedicated
journalist with a passion for an accurate cover of important issues and events to engage other
young readers and help fuel positive change in the community.
