Naming Cell Range(s) in a Worksheet

• It is possible to name cells and ranges so that they can be


referred to using meaningful names, such as “sales”

Protecting/ Un-protecting Designated Cells

• Cell protection will not take effect until the worksheet is protected
(with Contents checked).
• By default, all cells are locked. You must unlock any cell that you
wish users to be able to edit BEFORE YOU LOCK THE
WORKSHEET!

Assigning a Macro to a
Custom Button on a Toolbar

• Click on the button with the right-hand mouse button to display


the shortcut menu

one using the Record button.
