UNICMC LVT Filtration Control Agent

Advantages

Universal Performance Chemicals Pvt Ltd

General Description
UNICMC LVT is dispersible, sodium • Widely available and an economic
carboxymethyl cellulose, fluid loss source of fluid loss control
reducing additive in high viscosity. • Concentrated chemical, very effective at
small treatment levels
• UNICMC-LVT can be used in most
Application water base drilling fluids

UNICMC LVT additive is used as a

fluid loss reducing additive in freshwater
and seawater muds. It is less effective
in brines and saltwater and is not
generally recommended to be used
if the salinity exceeds 50,000 ppm.
UNICMC LVT additive is used in high visc
osity, high solids or heavily weighted fluids
and produces only slight increases in visc
osity.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES

4.1. Description of first aid measures

Inhalation

Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. If respiratory problems, artificial respiration/oxygen. Get medical attention if any
discomfort continues.
Ingestion
Do not induce vomiting. Immediately give a couple of glasses of water or milk, provided the victim is fully conscious. If vomiting
occurs, keep head low so that stomach content doesn't get into the lungs. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
Skin contact
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention promptly if symptoms
occur after washing.
Eye contact
Make sure to remove any contact lenses from the eyes before rinsing. Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the
eye lids. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
