Introduction

Background of the Study

This study attempt for the difficulties evenly international or local having

difficulties when it comes to practical research and also in personal

circumstances and how do they commit different problems in researching.

Difficulties in practical research are the main problem encountered by the study.

It deals with Senior High students and their level performance in practical

research. When it says practical research, they think that it is hard because there

are a lot of factors that will affect the level of performance of the students

especially for the Senior High School.

The setting of this the study is Ligao National High School specially the

Senior High Students and the grade 12 Technical Vocational Livelihood students

only. There are a lot of students had been encountered a low level of

performance and factors that affect their cooperation in doing practical research.

Difficulty state of being hard to do and deals with or understands and also

state of being difficult, underestimated the difficulty of the task. The terms of

action research by distinguishing main differences between itself and the

academic research.
Statement of the Problem

This study aims, to examine the difficulties and level of performance in

Practical Research of Senior High School Students in Ligao National High

School.

Specifically, it will seek answer to the following question;

1. What are the common difficulties encountered of Senior High School

Students in Practical Research?

2. What is the Level of Performance of Senior High School Students in

Practical Research?

3. How does the difficulty encountered of Senior High School Students affect

their Level of Performance in Practical Research?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the difficulties encountered and

the Level of Performance of Senior High School Students in Practical

Research?

Assumption of the Study

There are difficulties encountered of Senior High School Students in

Practical Research.

The Level of Performance of Senior High School Students in practical

Research is Satisfactory. And having difficulties encountered of Senior High

School Students when it comes in Practical Research.

Ho:

The difficulties encountered of Senior High Students do not affect their

Level of Performance in Practical Research.

Ha:

There is no significant relationship between the difficulties encountered

and the Level of Performance of Senior High School Students in Practical
Research.

Scope and Delimitation

This research aims to improve or address the difficulties of Senior High

School Students in Practical Research. And it also focuses or Senior High
Students.

This study will be conducted on the first semester School Year 2019-2020
of Senior High School Students and it will be conducted in Ligao National High
School.

The variables of this research are the Level of Performance and difficulties
in Practical Research. The Research Design to be used in the study is co-
relational Research Design.

This research will used instruments like questionnaire and survey form.

Significance of the Study

This study claims to determine the Difficulties and Level of Performance in

Practical Research in Senior High School Students of Ligao National High

School. Also, this study is beneficial of the following:

School. This is for their awareness of how Senior High School

Students been affected by the Level of Performance in Practical Research. Also,

this will reserve us their guide on how they would encounter the difficulties of

Practical Research is.

Parents. This study will raise awareness to them in order to intensify

their guidance towards their children to sustain their high academic performance

in school.

Students. For them to have an understanding towards the difficulties

and how to encounter this kind of difficulty, and they will realize how important for

them to accordingly towards the difficulties. Also, they will be oriented properly

about how beneficial the Level of Performance of Practical Research was.

Future Researcher. They will be given insight about the study and give

a deeper understanding towards the problem.
