 To counsel all the discharged patients for further follow ups through Community Nutrition
 Volunteers (CNVs).
 Work with the outreach teams to develop and maintain a referral system at community level.
Engage CNV in referring malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women special
attention to the basic health units.
 Assist in the preparation of reports about the admission, discharge, defaulter, absent, etc
throughout the project cycle and coordination with immediate senior and also with Nutrition
Coordinator and feed back

• Provide strategic guidance, strong leadership and ensure technically sound decision-making

Job responsibilities

 Plan and organize OTP/SFP at designated distribution sites in liaison with Coordinator.
 Work closely with OTP/SFP/BFC staffs to ensure all aspects of the programme are understood and
agreed and appropriate referrals take place to and from the OTP/SFP.
 Prepare plan of action for effective OTP/SFP implementation in consultation with the coordinator.
 Supervise the activities of the OTP/SFP team (community Mobilizers, community nutrition workers
& LHWs)
 Work closely with the teams to ensure all children are measured correctly in the community and at
OTP/SFP sites.
 Ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the teams, including admission, discharge and
transfer to and from the OTP/SFP and Stabilization Centre respectively.
 Ensure comprehensive health checks and treatment according to the protocols
