Spring Fever Australian Shepherd’s Stud Agreement

Agreement for: CH Spring Fevers Wanna Dance DNA-VP and ____________________________________________________

1. The stud fee for Tyce is $1,800.00/private contract payable after the litter is born. A nonrefundable
deposit of $100.00 is due at the time of breeding and will be applied to the stud fee. If a second breeding is
necessary, there will be no additional deposit. There will be only two attempts without a second contract.
Two live, correctly marked puppies constitute a litter.

2. There will an additional charge of $75.00 for pick up and delivery of the bitch to and from Salt Lake
International Airport. Or a charge of $25.00 for each trip to the reproduction specialist for semen
collection. All expensive involved with the collection and shipment will be the bitch owner’s responsibility.

3. Prior to breeding, the bitch owner(s) must provide copies of the following:
a. A photo, pedigree, and registration certificates
b. Current, negative brucellosis test, proof of rabies, unless your bitch is being artificially
inseminated
c. Eyes cleared by a canine ophthalmologist within twelve months time
d. Hip and elbow x-ray with an OFA rating

4. The owner(s) of the bitch is/are responsible for:

a. Any emergency veterinary fee for illness/injury of the bitch while being kept for breeding
purposes
b. A boarding fee of $20.00 per day after eight days
c. Cost of a health certificate, if it has expired while at Spring Fever
d. Supplying the stud owner with accurate and current names and address of all puppy buyers. As
well as notifying the stud owner of any titles attained by puppies from this breeding
e. Providing the stud owner with photos of each puppy in the litter by the time they are eight
weeks old
f. Bitch owner must have the entire litter’s eyes checked by a board certified ophthalmologist by
eight weeks of age and provide stud owner with copies of all eye exams for the entire litter
g. Puppies from this breeding are not to be sold into any indiscriminate breeding programs, such
as puppy milling or crossbreeding, including mini/toy Aussies. Companion puppies will be sold
on a spay/neuter agreement.
h. No puppy from this litter may be advertised on classified or on Facebook for sale listing
i. No puppy from this litter may be shown to Sherrie and Canby Scott or Katelyn Peart

There will be a $5,000.00 fine per occurrence assessed by the stud owner to the bitch owner for
each violation

5. The owners of the stud dog is responsible for:

a. Keeping the bitch confined and assure she is not mated with any other dogs
b. Keeping the bitch safe, but will not be held liable for any illness, injury, or death while being
kept for breeding purposes.
c. Sign registration papers upon fulfillment of above agreement
