One of the goals of the K-12 Basic Education Program is to develop in leaner’s the competencies, work ethic and
values relevant to pursuing further education and/or joining the world of work. Thus, to achieve congruence
between basic education and the nation’s development targets, work immersion, a required subject has been
incorporated into the curriculum.

As a Grade-12 Humanities and Social Sciences strand student, I would like to express my intention to be one of
the students who would like to complete the eighty (80) hours or ten (10) days work immersion as a requirement
in K-12 Basic Education Program.

I preferred to be in your organization because it will help me to understand and acquire knowledge in pursuing
my chosen profession.
