Objective:
Seeking for a Lead Project controls position in EPCM Company; wish to work with an organization which
will provide me room for knowledge horizon expansion with appropriate remuneration.
Professional Experience:
Current Designation – Sr Manager |Job Role: Sr Planning & Scheduling Engineer for EPC Projects
Have seen complete project cycles right from conceptualization to commissioning / hand over to
operations. Involved in every stage to support projects.
HPIB Project: High Purity Isobutene (105 KTA) – Part of J3 Jamnagar phase 3 Program (Under
commissioning) Estimated project capex $250 Mn, Number of equipment involved 258 (piece count)
Project duration 46 months.
Ethane integration project – Integrated 5 different phases of project viz. Ship manufacturing, Jetty
modification, Storage tank facility creation, Cross country pipe line (480 km), Ethane cracker
modification along with associated OSBL facility augmentation. (2015-18)
Key responsibilities mainly revolves around Planning, Scheduling, monitoring & controlling the vital
project parameters – Time & Cost
Detail Engineering Contractor (DEC) evaluation / EP contractor evaluation / PMC evaluation.
Assessing their key strengths, work force capabilities, current loading, augmentation capacity,
infrastructure availability with respect to Project Controls.
Formulate the Work Break Down structure.
Scheduling in Primavera P6V7, MS Project – Hands on experience
Prepare Management Summary (Level 1) schedule (Roll up), get the overall project duration
approved from Top Management, In line with L1, maintain integrated EPC – Engineering –
Procurement – Construction - L2 / L3 / L4 schedule (Roll down)
Review & approve schedule basis put forwarded by DEC / EP contractor.
Critical path analysis & preparation of mitigation plan usually on monthly basis & as per the
project demand.
Prepare, update & monitor 90 days look ahead plan in absence of L2 / L3 / L4 schedule.
Ensuring implementation of Document wise Lifecycle based progress measurement system, analyze
variances in actual performance against the plan through S-Curves, propose & execute mitigation
plans in consultation with Project Director / Project Manager.
Prepare Payment milestones to execute detail engineering / EP contract. Validate & approve
payment milestone based invoices.
MIS preparation – analytical reports helps in updating Top Management about the key highlights
for the reporting period, critical areas, productivity analysis, trend analysis, commodity release
profiles, Procurement & construction status, gathering inputs for front availability at site,
