Construction Safety Foundation Inc. would like to present this proposal for your review. We look
forward to work hand in hand with your office to provide your workers with knowledge and awareness
on the prescribed trainings on Occupational Safety and Health as mandated by DOLE pursuant to
Section 32 of Republic Act No. 11058 or An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety
and Health Standards Providing Penalties for Violations.

In the implementation of OSH Program, safety officers of all workplace must possess the
necessary training and experience requirement according to its category:

Category Prescribed Training on OSH Minimum OSH Experience

Safety Officer 1 (SO1)
Safety Officer 2 (SO2)
Safety Officer 3 (SO3)
Safety Officer 4 (SO4)
(a) Mandatory eight (8)-hour
OSH orientation course AND
(b) Two (2)-hours trainer’s
training
Mandatory forty (40)-hour basic
OSH training course applicable to
the industry
(a) Mandatory forty (40)-hour
basic OSH training course
applicable to the industry;
(b) Additional forty-eight (48) At least two (2) years of
hours of advanced/specialized experience in OSH
occupational safety training
course relevant to the industry;
AND
(c) Other requirements as
prescribed by the OSH standards
(a) Mandatory forty (40)-hour
OSH training course applicable to
the industry; Actual experience as SO3 for at

 Minimum classification and number of Safety Officers for all covered workplaces shall be as
