Session Title: Re-Echoing the Learnings Gained from the Seminar-Workshop on Lesson Exemplar and Test Construction
Writeshop
Duration: 2 hours to 2 and a half hours (flexibility of time but not less than 2 hours)
Target Participants: 9 English teachers
Link to the Previous Topic: Betterment of test questions, daily lesson log for the benefit of the students
Link to the Next Topic: Teaching strategies for the 21st Century Learners
Contribution of the Session English teachers will have better understanding on lesson exemplars and new inputs on test construction
to Learning Outcomes thus making the English subject more engaging.
Learning Objectives  Comprehend the importance of lesson exemplars
 Utilize exemplar lessons as models of effective instructional planning
 Appreciate the content-specific direction available through the exemplar lessons
Key Understanding Lesson exemplars are inquiry-based investigations that provide teachers and administrators with a way of
teaching and assessing process and communication skills. They can be used to help teach students skills
and concepts and to assess students' understanding of skills and concepts.
