Sarah Geronimo was born and raised in Santa Cruz, Manila,

Geronimo started a career in music at the age of 14 after


winning the television singing contest Star for a Night. She
then signed with music label Viva Records and rose to fame
with the release of her debut album Popstar: A Dream Come
True (2003) which became a multi-platinum record.
Geronimo is known as the Philippines' pop princess. Her
fame and contributions to the entertainment industry earned
her the honorific titles "Popstar Princess" and "Asia's
Popstar Royalty."

Fides Cuyugan-Asensio, since 1955, she has become one


of the leading performers and producers of opera in the
country. She made her operatic debut in 1955 singing as
Adele in Strauss' Die Fledermaus. She also performed in
many world premiere performances of Filipino operas,
like in Ramon Santos' Mapulang Bituin, Eliseo Pajaro's
Binhi ng Kalayaan, Kasilag's Dularawan, and most
notably as Sisa in Felipe de Leon's Noli me Tangere in
1957. She has also sung lead roles in Menotti's The
Telephone, Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Mozart's
Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Verdi's La Traviata,
Britten's Turn of the Screw, and Debussy's L'Enfant
Prodigue and many more. She also directed productions
of several Filipino and Western operas.

Clarissa Ocampo was born in the Philippines to a concert


pianist mother and an obstetrician father who sang opera as a
hobby. She graduated from high school in 1986, and planned
to attend college in the United States until the People Power
Revolution against the Marcos regime took place. She has
studied with noted Opera singers and vocal pedagogues:
Maestra Irma Ponce-Enrile Potenciano, Evelyn Mandac,
Emmanuel Gregorio, Daniel Ferro, Paul Sperry, Elizabeth
Mannion, Mark Goodrich, and Susan Ormont.Clarissa is very
excited to perform once again for the Filipino audience after
many, many years

OperaRachelle Gerodias was born in 1971. She studied at the
Conservatory of Music at the University of Santo Tomas
Singer
and obtained her diploma cum laude . She also studied at
the Eastman School of Music in Rochester , where she
earned her master's degree.

the Toyota Classics concert in 2003. Gerodias is also the
only Filipino singer who collaborated with the famous
Italian opera singers Mirella Freni . In 1992 she performed
for the first time at the Cultural Center of the Philippinesin
Rolando Tinio's opera "La Boheme" as Rosita. In 2005 she
sang on the same stage with Otoniel Gonzaga .

Andiòn Fernàndez is a Spanish Filipina operatic soprano,


born in Manila.

A soloist of the Deutsche Oper Berlin since 2001, she


graduated with honors from the Hochschule der Künste,
Berlin, and has studied voice with Karan Armstrong and Ira
Hartmann, and contemporary music with Aribert Reimann.
She is a prizewinner of Operalia International Opera
Competition (Plácido Domingo World Opera Contest,
Hamburg) and the Cardiff Singer of the World competition.
The major international opera houses she has sung in
include the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Deutsche Oper am
Rhein, the Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, the Nuremberg
Opera, the Gulbenkian Auditorium in Lisbon, the
Festwochen Herrenhausen in Hannover, the Schloß
Sanssouci in Potsdam, the Kallang Theatre and Victoria
Theatre in Singapore, the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden,
and the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona.
Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (28 May 1925 – 18 May
2012) was a German lyric baritone and conductor of
classical music, one of the most famous Lieder (art
song) performers of the post-war period, best known
as a singer of Franz Schubert's Lieder, particularly
"Winterreise" of which his recordings with
accompanist Gerald Moore and Jörg Demus are still
critically acclaimed half a century after their release.

Renée Lynn Fleming (born February 14, 1959) is an


American soprano, known for performances in opera,

Alcasid ( born April 22, 1970) is a Filipino
singer, actress and record producer. She
gained recognition by winning both the
1984 Ang Bagong Kampeon and the 1989

fame with the release of "Kung Maibabalik
Ko Lang" from her self-titled debut album
