1911 Build

I love the 1911 family of firearms. I wanted long slide version and found the pieces
needed at Fusion Firearms. If you don’t know what you want, look at their website, they have
everything. Emails are answered by the president of the company, Bob Serva, and they will
recommend all the items you will need. They have all high end stuff.

I started with a full length frame and a slab-side 6” slide. See the pictures below, this is
after I fit the slide. Pictured in the white.

I ordered a Black Oxide kit from Ebay and did all the “Bluing” at home. See the pictures
below for the finished gun. I didn’t take any pictures during the process as I wasn’t planning to
post anything.
This gun shoots great!
