Safety Precautions:
Keep an eye on friends, classmates and family; drowning may occur a little as 20 secs.
For children and 60 secs for adult
Stay out of the water when you are very tired, sick, very cold, or overheated.
Swim in designated areas.
Follow all swimming rules posted at the swimming area.
Obey the lifeguard’s instruction or the assigned instructor.
Practice and learn the “Reach, Throw, Tow and Go” method to help a drowning victim
Avoid swimming at night in unlighted areas.
Don’t chew gum or eat while swimming, you could choke.
