Dear Miss Salud:

This is to inform you that the Contract of Lease we have previously entered
and executed last Aug 12, 2019 in which the subject matter of the said
Contract contains an area of Two Thousand One Hundred Thirty Three
(2,133) square meters, more or less covered by Transfer Certificate of Title
No. 165-2015001645 duly registered in the Province of Isabela, is hereby
rescinded.

I wish to cancel the contract because you did not comply with your
obligation as a lessee which is to pay the lease rentals; you did not even
show and contact us about the status of our Contract of Lease despite of all
our efforts to contact and reach you and considering that we have entered
the transaction last August 12, 2019.

I hereby exercise my right to rescind the agreement under the provisions of

Art. 1191 of the Civil Code of the Philippines which partly provides that
“The power to rescind obligations is implied in reciprocal ones, in case
one of the obligors should not comply with what is incumbent upon
him.

The injured party may choose between the fulfillment and the rescission
of the obligation, with the payment of damages in either case. He may
also seek rescission, even after he has chosen fulfillment, if the latter
should become impossible.”
Based on the above law, since you did not comply with what is incumbent
upon you, which is your obligation to pay the lease rentals, I chose to
rescind the Contract of Lease we have entered last August 12, 2019.
