    MILITARY SPECIFICATION

    WELDING, RESISTANCE: SPOT AND SEAM

    MIL-W-6858D, dated 28 March 1978 and Amendment 1 dated 6 November 1992, is hereby
    canceled. Users may refer to SAE-AMS-W-6858, “Welding, Resistance: Spot and Seam”, as a
    possible replacement. Users are cautioned to evaluate AMS-W-6858 for their particular
    application before citing it as a replacement document.

    (Application for copies of AMS publications should be addressed to the Society of Automotive
