High Frequency Generator

The high power and short exposure me required for excellent quality
image crea on is guaranteed by the microprocessor controlled high
frequency generator integrated into the system. The thermal load
interac ve Integrator ensures op mum use of the heat protec on
curve of the x-ray tube according to examina on requirements. The
operator can from the console select the following parameter for
Radiology:
Ÿ Focal Spot selec on – small or large
Ÿ KV, mA, mAs, t
Ÿ Parameter Selec on Mode (One Point, Two Point and Three Point)
Ÿ APR Technique
Ÿ Pa ent Thickness
Ÿ Anatomy
Ÿ Projec on
Ÿ AEC – Op on
Ÿ DAP – Op on
X- RAY TUBE
High Speed rota ng anode x-ray tube housing assembly for high
energy radiographic study. The anode is constructed with specially
processed Rhenium – tungsten faced molybdenum target which have
an improved thermal emissivity. The various tube combina ons
which are integrated with ProRad 2FC is as follows

Heat storage capacity of anode 140 KHU 200 KHU 300 KHU 400 KHU 600 KHU

Collimator
ProRad 2FC is provided with a mulitleaf collimator which is defined by 6 pairs of shu ers, four of which are lead lined. The six
pairs of shu er move perpendicularly within the x-ray field. Shu er movements are manual and controlled by two knobs on
the collimator front panel. Direct visualiza on of the x-ray field is provided by a light beam of high luminosity provided by a
quartz iodide lamp. To extend the lamp life there is an electronic mer provided which will switch off the lamp a er 30
seconds automa cally to prevent overhea ng. ProRad 2FC also provides motorized collimator and automa c collimator as
an op on.
Ver cal Stand
ProRad 2FC is provided with a heavy duty ver cal bucky stand providing full
flexibility for all radiographic examina ons. The ver cal stand is suitable for
all varie es of examina ons including horizontal, ver cal and oblique angles.
It also allows off-table radiographies of skull and spine in horizontal and
ver cal posi ons and a variety of radiographs of pa ent standing,
recumbent, si ng on wheel chair or on a stretcher. The ver cal stand is fully
counterbalance system with a ver cal travel of 131 cm. The l ng angle is
from - 200 to 00 to 900 (Horizontal). All the brakes for the movements is
electromagne c. The grid of standard ra o provided is provided which is
removable to do radiographs with non grid applica ons possible. The ver cal stand is provided with a bucky tray which can
take image receptor (Analog / CR / DR) up to a size 43 cm x 43 cm (17”x17”). The movements (ver cal and l ng) is manual
and automa c movement is provided as an op on.
Mobile Examina on Table
The mobile table with a four way floa ng table
top with length of the table top 210 cm and
width of the table top 81 cm is ideally suited
for a single detector system. The table has
longitudinal movement of ± 50 cm, transverse
movement of ± 12.5cm.
The mobile x-ray table is provided with Carbon
Fibre Table Top and can withstand a pa ent
weight up to 250 KG (300 KG as an Op on).
All movement brakes are electro magne c.
